Boy did we have fun!! For three days these 17 Kings and Queens of Queenstown enjoyed luging, snow ball fights, yummy food, parties, mini golf, jetboating and making their own chocolates.
Exhausted but still smiling from ear to ear William Currie, who was there with his Mum, Belinda, was asked what was the best bit and he categorically stated, “ Everything”.
Some of the other children thought it was a tough call to choose between the jetboating and other activities.. |
 |
| Within a few hours of arriving in Queenstown the children were playing games, giggling, teasing and jabbering like long lost friends. Paul, General Manager of Grand Mercure Resort dressed as a clown to entertain his VIP guests at the welcome party held in their honour. He was a huge hit!! |
 |
| Renato Bartolomei, our Shortland Street celebrity was a wonderful Ambassador, sharing all fun and games with our guests, managing to stay just clear of the snowballs and having no qualms about it! |
 |
| We convinced 5 of our party to bungy at AJ Hackett Bungy including Lisa Poua, representing Pumpkin Patch. Once back up the right way Lisa had a feeling of total exhilaration. She found the entire weekend incredibly inspiring and enjoyed spending the time getting to know the children and parents |

This year we received a thank you letter from Fiona Clark, who attended Ticket to Hope with her daughter,Jessica.
Click here to read the message from Jessica's Mum.
It is a poignant reminder that the children who attend Ticket to Hope laughing and playing as any well child would, have actually had more than their share of tough times. |
