Shardei Nathan, Michael Winton Faulds and Tristan Bolton model their Pumpkin Patch outfits, generously donated to the thirteen children attending Ticket to Hope in September 2008. On the first night the children, invited guests and sponsors enjoyed the welcome party provided by St Moritz Hotel where the children were presented with a special Pumpkin Patch goodie bag filled with hats, clips, jewelry, socks and trinkets. Thanks Patch!! |

| No time to get over the jet lag of flying down from Auckland or Christchurch as we headed straight up to Skyline for afternoon tea and a group photo with Captain Gravity, Shortland Street Ambassadors, Renato Bartolomei and Craig Parker. Danielle Van der Heijden flew down the luge course thoroughly enjoying the speed and ignoring the cold! |

| On Saturday, Day two of our special weekend, we spent a very exciting few hours at Coronet Peak in the snow. Browns Ski sorted all the kids and parents in cosy ski gear so we were all set for the infamous snow fight! Following a yummy lunch in the new world class facility at Coronet Peak Ski Resort, we were treated to a ride on a quadbike, a trip up the chair lift to view the amazing view as seen by Ambassador Laura Barnett-Davidson and her Mum, Margaret. Then a very special treat for our Cure Kid Ambassadors and their parent -a speedy ride on a snowmobile. Magic Memories, official photographers at Coronet Peak took some terrific photos of our team to make sure these special memories would last forever!! |
On Sunday we headed out to AJ Hackett Bungy to witness a couple of our brave parents bungy!! Shane Fairbairn, father of Braedon, pictured here preparing for his ‘drop’. It was very exciting and Shane felt the experience was ‘completely exhilarating’. |
