William Currie

William Currie.JPGNine year old William Currie struggled to walk without pain for three years before he underwent an operation to remove a large growth from his foot known as an Arterio Venous Malformation.

He was six when doctors removed the lump and is now pain free and able to walk to school and play all the sport he enjoys.

He lives in Dunedin with his parents Ian and Belinda and younger sister Lucy and two tabby cats, Bob and Dash.

William enjoys rugby and soccer and was a member of the St Joseph’s T ball team. He hopes to play cricket and summer soccer next summer. His favourite subjects at school are art, science, maths, reading and writing.

He loves playing lego, especially Star Wars, playing on his computer and just can’t stop reading Harry Potter!

His favourite celebrities are TVNZ’s Tamati and Tana Umanga along with characters Sponge Bob, OB1 Kenobi from Star Wars and Harry Potter.
