Fundraising

Have fun while fundraising!
2010-10-Challenge-Fundraise.jpg

To enter the Accor Hotels $10 Queenstown Challenge, teams must fundraise a minimum of $7,150. This includes an entry fee of $1,000 + GST, with a further $6,000 fundraising minimum.

While this fundraising total may sound daunting at first, it’s all part of the challenge. Fundraising can be a great way to get all your friends, family and colleagues involved with the event, and help get you to the start-line. Fundraising events—such as a quiz night, a bowling night or a karaoke competition—are great for company team-building, simple to organise and effective fundraisers.

Where possible, our fundraising managers would love to meet with you and help brainstorm and plan your fundraising. We have a wealth of fun and creative ideas! We will also send all teams a Fundraising Toolkit full of ideas that work.

You are welcome to get as much sponsorship and media as you can around your team.

FundraiseOnline

FundraiseOnline web page – All people who donate online receive an automatic receipt from Cure Kids along with a thank you letter. This money is forwarded to Cure Kids and we’ll allocate all donations made on each page to the respective team. Please do not use the offline facility; we will update this section of your page once funds have been received at the Cure Kids office. To set up your official Accor Hotels $10 Queenstown Challenge fundraising page, follow the instructions here.

Contact Summer Haycock (09)370 0287 or s.haycock@curekids.org.nz  for help setting up your page.

Just to be clear, Cure Kids will record all money received and attribute to your teams’ efforts. In order to make sure we are crediting the right team, please ensure all money sent or banked clearly says which team it is for, you’ll all be working so hard to fundraise, and we want to credit the right people – the sought after fundraising trophy is at stake!
