Add a Dollar for Child Health Research

Cure Kids Add a Dollar is a retail campaign whereby participating retailers ask customers to add $1 to their bill for Cure Kids. Spearheaded by the Briscoe Group, it is run in collaboration with a number of our other key retail partners such as Harvey Norman, Pumpkin Patch, Pharmacy Brands, Hirequip and Guthrie Bowron.

A simple way to make a donation, the campaign has been hugely successful since its launch in 2006 – raising over $1 million thanks to the generosity of public support and our participating companies.

Turning Research into Hope

Every cent of every dollar goes toward funding innovative research that will improve the lives of Kiwi kids living with a life-threatening illness. Over the years Cure Kids has funded research advancements in diseases such as:

  • Childhood Leukaemia
  • Long QT Syndrome
  • Cystic Fibrosis
  • Cot Death
  • Genetic Research
  • Severe Asthma

Today, we are more committed than ever to help find answers to the many cruel, life-threatening illnesses that devastate the lives of young children and their families.
