What
An adventure course which takes between six – nine hours to complete and includes the following four disciplines:

Running/Trekking

Mountain biking
-
Traversing waterways
-
Navigation and route finding
Team Structure
4 people per team, including at least one member of the opposite sex. Each team requires an enthusiastic four person support crew responsible for support on race day and to be the catalyst for Cure Kids fundraising in your organisation.
Training and skills seminar – 11 February 2012
A seminar will be held in Auckland on 11 February 2012, hosted by Race Director Alan Nelson and the Mountain Safety Council. The seminar will cover training programmes, nutrition, route finding, race strategy, equipment and a Q&A session. Check out the

Launch Party – 17 April 2012
The race launch party will be held in Auckland on the evening of Tuesday 17 April. This is where the fun begins! Important race information – such as the location of the race - is given during the briefing and it’s a great opportunity to meet the other competitors. This is the true start of this great event and the opportunity to experience first hand the magic of Cure Kids.
