Every year Red Nose Day helps educate more people about how being silly for such a great cause can provide fantastic outcomes for our kids living with life-threatening illnesses.

Whether you are a school of 10 or 2000, we want your school to be part of the magic. Teachers can get their classrooms involved and be a part of a cause that is not only worthwhile, but also gives you the opportunity to get involved and have some fun!

Paper Plus and Take Note stores are partnering with Cure Kids for the 2011 Schools Fundraising Challenge. Their stores are offering Red Nose Day items on a use or return basis, and have some fantastic incentives for supporting Red Nose Day. Head along to your local store to find out more.

The Cure Kids Red Nose Day Fundraising Competition

Every $250 raised gets your school an entry in the prize draw! Your school could be $3,000 better off thanks to Paper Plus, Z Energy and Briscoes Group. All you have to do is have fun raising funds! Organise a mufti day, go to your local Paper Plus or Take Note store and get the Red Nose Day recipes for a bake off or even get some merchandise to help with your fundraising – the ideas are limitless! The winning school also wins two cases of wine for teachers!

Bank your money with your local Paper Plus or Take Note Store and get behind this great cause. Simply fill out School Competition Form and take it in to the store with you. Every $250 you raise gets in another entry in the $3,000 prize draw.

 

 The Cure Kids Red Nose Day Song Challenge

Learn the song “You Make the Whole World Smile” and perform it any way you want. The choir, the school band, sign-language...the possibilities are endless! Upload it and send the link to rednoseday@curekids.org.nz. The winning school will win an amazing Canon prize pack of a Digital Video Camera and Digital Still Camera, generously donated by Harvey Norman. Click here to download the lyrics.

Every song entered gains your school an entry into the draw. Enter as many versions as you wish!

 

The Cure Kids Red Nose Day Photo Competition

The craziest, funniest, silliest photo will win this grand prize – all you have to do is wear a red nose!  Email your photo to Cure Kids and we will upload it to the Cure Kids’ Facebook website. Voting will be based on 50% of public vote (“likes” on Facebook), and 50% by our judging panel. Winners will be announced on Monday 18 August. The winning photo will appear on a 2012 Poster for Cure Kids Red Nose Day. You can also enter the ‘Strike a Red Nose Pose’ competition with Classic Hits, and be in to win $5,000 worth of prizes!

Paper Plus is a main partner in Red Nose Day. They are keen to get involved with your school to support the students in making a life-saving difference to our Kiwi kids.
