Targa New Zealand "The Ultimate Road Race"

Monday 24th - Saturday 29th October 2011

Targa_Ultimate.jpgTarga New Zealand has become New Zealand’s largest competitive rally series and the longest closed-tarmac road motorsport event in Australasia, spanning vehicles from the 1950’s to today. The unique aspect of Targa New Zealand is this variety of cars, from old to new, from very expensive to the very affordable, all driven by passionate car enthusiasts. This is car culture at its finest: driving fast, loads of fun and an element of danger!

Cure Kids have been Targa New Zealand’s charity of choice since 2002 and during that time over $450,000 has been raised through this event for research into life-threatening illnesses that affect children. This year we want to raise over $50,000 which we’re hoping to achieve with the support of the Targa community!

The Targa Rally has a reputation for friendly rivalry and camaraderie and Cure Kids enjoys the special bonds that have been created with the organisers and competitors over the years and many friendships have been forged through Cure Kids’ involvement with Targa New Zealand.

Cure Kids are looking forward to working with Targa New Zealand in 2011 and their drivers to raise as much money as we can towards research into life-threatening illnesses that affect our Kiwi kids.
