Global Security, Auckland
Ross Johnson has been involved in the security industry for the past 20 years and has managed the security of embassies for five different countries, ports, numerous national property portfolios, international visitors and private homes. Ross is also qualified as a ‘Certified Protection Professional’ (CPP), by the American Society for Industrial Security. He keeps a very tight reign on all aspects of operations in his business and has an incredible eye for detail! Between all this, Ross is passionate about motor racing, and is a major sponsor of the Targa event.
“I have a ‘soft spot’ for motor racing and sponsor two Porsche race cars; one in the GT1 track series (open class cars) and another in the Targa road rallies around New Zealand,” says Ross. ‘We are also extremely proud sponsors of Cure Kids: When Global Security started their search of a charity to align themselves with, one of the criteria was that being a New Zealand owned and operated company, we wanted to “keep it local”. We protect kiwis and their homes and businesses. We wanted our involvement with a charity to be an extension of that ethos.”
“I am committed to helping Cure Kids achieve their $50,000 fundraising goal via Targa this year and challenge other drivers to do the same.”
