Ticket to Hope

When a child is born with a life-threatening illness, their family lives with the hope that one day, a cure will be found. Cure Kids is about keeping that hope alive through the research we fund.

For these seriously ill children there's one thing money can buy. HOPE.

The Ticket to Hope weekend helps seriously ill children escape the reality of their illness and, for a few precious days, experience the joy of living in the moment.

Each year Cure Kids hosts Ticket to Hope, a weekend for children who suffer from life-threatening illnesses, along with a parent, for an unforgettable long weekend in Queenstown.

From 15-17 June 2011, fifteen children from around New Zealand were treated like the Kings and Queens of Queenstown! Cure Kids would like to extend thanks to the many kind Queenstown companies who generously donate their time, activities, accommodation and catering to enable us to deliver this amazing event.

Being able to meet other children and parents who understand what they go through every day and not being different, even if just for one weekend, is so important to these kids.
