Twice as Nice... HireQuip are proud to announce the 2nd winner of the 2010 Harley Davidson™ Fatboy Motorcycle

The winner of the second 2010 Harley Davidson™ Fatboy Motorcycle was announced on air on Monday the 21st of December by the morning Rock Rumble Crew. Congratulations to the team at McConnell Dowell who entered the draw after hiring equipment from HireQuip Daldy Street branch between 14th November and 18th December.

Roger McCrae (General Manager of McConnell Dowell) held an internal auction for his staff to sell the motorcycle and the proceeds from the sale went straight back to the hands of Cure Kids, who were astounded by such generosity. "This is a fantastic initiative from HireQuip and we are pleased to be able to contribute further to a great charity like Cure Kids" states Roger.

Cure Kids CEO Vicki Lee says “I was blown away by the generosity shown on that fabulous Friday 18th, with HireQuip donating $100,000 of cash and hire equipment for Cure Kids to use for our events live on the Breakfast show, but then to go to hand over the Harley on Monday to be told that Roger ’s intentions were to have an auction for the bike within his staff and the proceeds would be coming straight back at Cure Kids was just incredible. In my role it never ceases to amaze me the wonderful support we have. Hire Quip is such a fabulous new Key Partner for us and now, it seems their customers are right behind Cure Kids too which is very exciting for us and can only help us with our cause."

16 November 2009 - The winner of the first 2010 Harley Davidson™ Fatboy Motorcycle was announced on Monday the 16th of November..

Congratulations to Brendon Williams, who hired equipment from the Hornby branch between the 1st of October and the 13th of November 2009. Brendon came into the branch to pick up the keys from HireQuip CEO Brian Stephen and, as a recently certified learner rider, is absolutely delighted with the win.

The second 2010 Harley Davidson™ Fatboy Motorcycle will be drawn on the 21st December, allowing customers plenty of time to hire equipment from any of HireQuip's 42 branches nationwide and be into win*.

HireQuip is also donating $1 from every hire to Cure Kids, and will present the much deserved charity with a donation of $100,000 on TVNZ Breakfast show on Friday December 18th.
