Cure Kids is delighted to have been selected as the recipient charity for the 2006 Miss Howick contest.

Now into its 18th year, Miss Howick is a popular annual event encompassing the wider area of Howick, Botany and East Tamaki.

The final of the Miss Howick event will be held on July 22 and there is expected to be a lot of public interest.

All three placegetters in the contest will participate in the Miss Auckland Pageant.

In the past Miss Howick titleholders have won the Miss Auckland title and even the Miss New Zealand Asia Pacific title, increasing the popularity of these two events for both contestants and sponsors. |
Cure Kids general manager Thelma French recently met the Miss Howick contestants and outlined the work of Cure Kids to them.
