And click here for the final results!

A message from Race Director, Alan Nelson:

Congratulations to all teams for their performances on race-day. This was a tough and demanding course which was distinctive both for the variety of terrain and the welcome re-introduction of the key elements of adventure racing – navigation, route-finding and off-track travel.

The attached race results tell an interesting story and reflect the varying fortunes of teams on race-day. Some of the fastest teams over the ground ended up losing significant time or even became officially “unranked” either from injuries or through missing key Check Points, Observation Points or Gateways. This is all part of the distinctive nature of adventure racing – the race rules are unforgiving, fortune does not necessarily favour the fastest and the learning curve for teams at any level never ends.

Well done to everyone. I look forward to welcoming you  back next year to another unique and special challenge that is the Cure Kids Adventure Race.

Alan Nelson, Race Director, Cure Kids Great Adventure Race
