Training Seminar

The Cure Kids Great Adventure Race SI Training Seminar  Race Director Alan Nelson and Cure Kids  Funding Manager Josie Fitzgerald will be on hand to tell you everything you need to know – you don’t want to miss these information seminars.

Thanks Josie and Alan – it was an absolute privilege to take part as a volunteer.  Joan and I had a fabulous day doing what we love, so it was great to be able to combine it with such a worthwhile cause.  We were very impressed with your professionalism in running the event, which was meticulous – I’m sure that even if we had bad weather, it would still have been a huge success.  The athletes were amazing – an absolute inspiration -You can definitely sign me up for next year!

"We're all still buzzing from the weekend's race. It was an awesome weekend and we are so proud of our team. It was quite emotional watching all the teams cross the finish line and I must admit to having a few tears in the eyes.

“It’s for the kids” is the mantra so often heard when competitors face tough moments out on the course.

Some 20,000 New Zealand children suffer from cruel life threatening illnesses and the competitor know that though the race may be tough it is nothing compared to some of the treatments these children are forced to endure in their daily lives.
