Red Nose Day Returns
Cure Kids’ iconic Red Nose Day is officially underway, with the nationwide appeal running throughout July and culminating on Friday, 25 July.
The annual fundraiser is a much-loved campaign that rallies New Zealanders to support critical research into serious childhood illnesses. Every dollar raised helps fund projects aimed at saving, extending, and improving the lives of tamariki across Aotearoa.
This year, Cure Kids is aiming to raise over $500,000 to support groundbreaking new research initiatives tackling some of the biggest health challenges facing our kids.
“For more than five decades, Cure Kids has funded child health research that’s led to real, measurable improvements,” says Frances Soutter, CEO of Cure Kids. “But there’s still more work to be done. Red Nose Day is a fun, meaningful way for Kiwis to back this mission and help create brighter futures for our children.”
There are plenty of ways to get involved, from hosting a games night or shared meal, to organising a school or workplace fundraiser, taking on a personal challenge, or simply donating online.
